Magazine is free, why do I have to pay for a subscription?
The cost of a subscription pays for the envelopes and postage to get the
magazine to your door. The magazine is Free of charge. If you don’t want to pay
for a subscription, you may go to one of our many
distribution points to pick up a free issue while supplies last. Once we
deliver the magazine, they disappear pretty fast. A subscription guarantees that
you will not miss an issue.

How wide is your
distribution area?
Currently Dixie Living distributes about 5,000 copies of our magazine over nine
counties (Lee, Macon, Russell, Bullock, Barbour, Pike, Crenshaw, Houston & Covington).
We also have subscribers in 23 states.
I love your
magazine; who does all of the work to get it published every month?
Except for the printing and the page layout, we do everything ourselves. We
collect stories, articles, recipes, and take the pictures. We also have many
submissions from fans of the magazine. We welcome all suggestions and ideas that
you have. We never stop striving to make Dixie Living bigger and better, and we
certainly can’t do that without you, the reader.
Can I Submit a
story/picture/poem/recipe to Dixie Living?
Most certainly. We love to hear from the readers. Please send us anything you
would like to be considered for the magazine. You can either
e-mail us or send it to the address at the top of the page. We handle all of
our own correspondence, so you can be guaranteed that your mail will get
personal attention.
I see Dixie

The content of our magazine is absolutely safe for all ages and environments. We
have clean jokes, funny stories, recipes, church profiles, business profiles,
coloring pages for the children, and much more.
